Simulation of Lower Hybrid Wave Propagation in EAST

【摘要】 <正> A simulation on the propagation of lower hybrid wave in EAST is conducted. Raytracing, evolution of the parallel refractive index, and power deposition profiles in a D-shapedconfiguration were calculated. Results show that wave propagation is affected by the plasmacurrent, density, magnetic field, and power spectrum, etc. leading to a different power deposition.This is helpful in understanding the LHCD experiments on EAST.
