感官型学习风格对词汇学习效果影响机制的功能磁共振研究
An fMRI study of neurological mechanism in effect of visual/auditory learning style on vocabulary learning outcomes
【摘要】 通过功能磁共振实验研究视觉型和听觉型学习风格对词汇学习所具有的潜在的生理机制,选择不同学习风格的学生,使用1.5特斯拉的Philips Eclipse磁共振和NEC刺激器,借助功能磁共振BOLD(血氧水平依赖)技术,记录两种不同学习风格的被试者大脑皮层对听觉输入和视觉输入的反应,横向和纵向对比研究不同模式的输入对两种学习风格被试者的影响。实验结果得出以下结论:(1)被试者在接受符合其学习风格的输入时,全脑激活较大。(2)记忆在语言学习的某些阶段(如信息储存和检索过程中)起了不可估量的作用。(3)符合学习风格的输入能更好地激发工作记忆的作用。
【Abstract】 The objective of this study is to determine the underlying physiological mechanism by means of functional magnetic resonance imaging in researching the effect of visual and auditory learning styles on vocabulary learning.With two screening tests,8 students,21-28 years old,4 males and 4 females,4 visual learners and 4 auditory learners,were chosen to participate in the fMRI experiment.1.5T Philips Eclipse MRI and NEC stimulator were used,together with the technique of BOLD,to record cortical reaction of two types of subjects of different learning styles to the two modes of input(visual and auditory) respectively.The effects of the input on the subjects of two learning styles were compared transversely and longitudinally.The result can lead to the following conclusions:1.the brain areas are activated most when the input is to the preference of the learning styles of the subjects;2.this can be the physiologic evidence that memory plays a very important role in some stages of language learning,for example,information store and retrieval;3.the input to the preference of the learning styles can better activate working memory.
