【Abstract】 The story Everyday Use reveals the identification of traditional black culture in the society where white culture is dominant.Alice Walker,the writer,treats the characters,events,and the scene as a system of cultural symbols,through which the cultural view and ideology imbedded are conveyed and the deep feelings and the great expectations of African-Americans are fully expressed.The multi-dimentional symbolization in the story is the embodiment of the aesthetic values of African-Americans as well as the realization of literary beauty of vagueness.As a result,it brings to readers greater freedom to interpret and more beauty to enjoy.更多还原
