【Abstract】 The travel notes taken by Chosun envoys show their understanding and impressions of the Ming Dynasty,and record their admiration for the prosperous Ming society,their criticism of the seamy side of society,their praise for the well-disciplined and well-trained army commanded by General Qi Jiguang,and their worries about the situation in Ming′s border areas.Taken by tributary state envoys,the travels reveal the envoys′ multiple mentalities,but due to their origin and factuality,they are of great value to the study of China′s Ming Dynasty from a different perspective.更多还原
