【Abstract】 Speech act theory is the core of Linguistics.According to this theory,when a man speaks,he is performing three kinds of acts:locutionary act,illocutionary act and perlocutionary act.The study of speech act theory mainly focuses on illocutionary acts.It attempts to account for the ways by which speakers can mean more than what they say.Making use of this theory in listening comprehension can improve students’understanding of illocutionary act in conversations.更多还原
