【摘要】 作为英国19世纪社会文化生活的见证者和参与者,勃朗特姐妹等一批女性作家以特有的感性注意到了那个时代社会结构的重大变化:贵族阶级正逐渐走向没落,却依然在社会生活中处于支配地位,反映到道德层面,表现为对"门第观念"和"绅士概念"的推崇;而上升中的中产阶级清楚认识到自身的两面性,一方面遵从并内化贵族道德观念,另一方面也试图倡导有利于自己发展的道德取向,如对劳动的重视、倡导自控和自助观念以及对体面生活的希望与追求;无产阶级的政治经济地位注定了他们只能沦为他人思想观念的模仿者、实践者,注定了他们在社会道德建设中的"失语症"患者命运。英国19世纪涌现的众多女性小说家透过现实主义的外衣,展现出一幅幅独具特色的道德图景,彰显了共同的道德关怀,为后人理解这一时期的社会生活提供了鲜活的材料。更多还原

【Abstract】 British literature in the 19th century was an age of Realism,which was characterized by the concern on morality embodied through the exploration of various novelists,presenting a vivid picture of the era.The study on the morals in the British Realistic works has been conducted by some scholars,but the uniqueness of this paper lies in the fact that it centers itself on the class line of the this period with a specific focus on the works of nineteenth century British females writers,providing a general view of female conception of Victorian morality.更多还原
