【Abstract】 This paper makes an analysis of social background from the economical, cultural and hi-tech perspective, against which technical secondary schools have been promoted to high vocational schools. The new situation has put forward new demands on vocational education through the comprehensive and profound impacts of the transformation from planned economy to market economy on the admission system, training goals and specialties; through the impacts of the changes in cultural concepts and environment on removing traditional cultural views and on school administrative modes; and through the impact of the fast development of science and technology on the life-long vocational education.更多还原
