基于信息熵的基础地理信息地形数据库中信息量度量方法初探
Preliminary Research on Measuring the Amount of Information of Topographic Database Based on Entropy
【摘要】 信息熵方法是建立在信息论基础上的信息量评价方法,目前多用于地图信息的量测,尚无针对地形库中的几大要素特征的综合性的信息量分析评价方法。本文在分析已有地图信息量测方法基础上,选择国家1:1000000地形数据库中9幅地图的居民地要素层,建立Voronoi图,全面分析评价了该要素层的统计信息量、几何信息量、拓扑信息量和专题(属性)信息量。实验表明,对地形数据库中的要素层采用全面评价的方法是可行和必要的,能更好地反映要素的分布特征和专题(属性)特征。
【Abstract】 Reasonably measuring the amount of information can provide technique foundations for description,evaluation,and selection products of information producers,quality controllers and users.Entropy,based on information theory,is a kind of information capacity evaluation method and has been applied to measuring map information quantity.However,measuring the amount of features in topographic database is absent.In this paper,means for measuring map information quantity is analyzed.Selecting 9 maps from 1:1 000 000 national topographic database,the amount of the point residential layer information is computed mostly with Voronoi graph.The authors completely evaluated statistical information,geometric information,topological information and thematic(attribute) information entropy.Results show that entirely evaluating the amount of information for features is necessary and feasible,and can reflect the distribution and thematic(attribute) characteristics for features in topographic database.
