【Abstract】 To meet the demands of accident causes mining of road traffic management departs based on accidents database, traffic accidents attribute are divided into two layers. The top layer is consist of four macro attributes including human, vehicle, road, environment, while the bottom layer includes several attributes which belong to each of four macro attributes. To apply the rough set theory, the calculate method of significant degree which is the influencing degree of eachlayer’s attribute to accident severity is given separately.
