【Abstract】 Wide election in the process of villagers’ autonomy is originated from the practice of Lishu County in Jilin province,which was recognized by national legislation later and has become an election model to be widely applied in villages around the whole country now. This paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of wide election practice and concludes that there are more advantages than disadvantages with advantages as the mainstream. Developing and improving wide election should be carried out further in practice with efforts on eliminating disadvantages and promoting advantages.更多还原
