【Abstract】 A new technique for reducing the residual stress in casting by using the residual heat of casting is presented. The new technique has been applied by Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Company Limited and the result is remarkable. The casting’s residual stress could be reduced to less than 60 MPa, and energy saving is about 101.1 kWh per ton of castings, as compared with traditional technique.更多还原
