稀土复合固体超强酸催化合成食用香料乳酸正丁酯

【摘要】 研究了以纳米稀土复合固体超强酸SO42-/ZrO2-Nd2O3为催化剂,以乳酸和正丁醇为原料合成乳酸正丁酯。通过正交试验考察了影响酯化反应的主要因素,确定的最佳合成条件为:乳酸用量为0.1mol时,正丁醇与乳酸物质量之比为3.0:1,催化剂用量为0.55g,带水剂环己烷15mL,回流反应2.0h,酯化率可达98.7%。该催化剂回收简单,重复使用7次后酯化率仍超过96%。

【Abstract】 n-butyl lactate was synthesized from lactic acid and n-butanol with rare earth solid superacid SO42-/ZrO2-Nd2O3 as catalyst. The effect of primary factors on esterification was investigated by orthogonal experiment. The optimum reaction conditions were determined: based on 0.1 mol lactic acid, molar ratio of n-butanol to lactic acid 3.0:1, the amount of catalyst 0.55 g, 15 ml cyclohexane as water carrying agent, reaction time 2.0 h at reflux temperature. The esterification rate reached 98.7% under the optimum condition. Rare composite solid superacid SO42-/ZrO2-Nd2O3 catalyst can be reused by simple phase-separation; the esterification rate reached 96% after the catalyst was reused 7 times.
