空心玻璃球低密度水基钻井液技术
Hollow Glass Beads-treated Low Density Water Base Fluids
【摘要】 为了满足对低密度水基钻井液的需要,研究出一种新型密度减轻剂——空心玻璃球。该产品呈灰白色,系列产品的密度为0.37~0.45g/cm3,样品粒度为5~123μm,略大于美国样品,在90~100℃条件下该产品具有10MPa的抗压能力。研究了空心玻璃球低密度水基钻井液的性能控制原理与方法以及空心玻璃球的回收技术。结果表明,该产品可以将水基聚合物钻井液的密度降低至0.78~0.95g/cm3;空心玻璃球的加入会增加钻井液黏度,降低滤失量;利用传统的旋流分离设备,结合清水稀释的方法,可以回收40%~75%的空心玻璃球。
【Abstract】 A light weight material-hollow glass beads,was developed for use in low density drilling fluids.This pale-colored material has a density in a range of 0.37-0.45 g/cm3,and a particle size ranged in 5-123 microns.The material has a compressive strength of 10 MPa in 90-100 ℃.Laboratory studies were done on the density control of low-density drilling fluids,and the recycling of the hollow glass beads.The studies showed that,using the hollow glass beads,the density of a water base polymer mud can be lowered to 0.78-0.95 g/cm3,accompanying by an increase in mud viscosity and a decrease in water loss.40%-75% of the used hollow glass beads can be recycled using traditional cyclone equipment and water dilution.
