光学玻璃的精密切削实验研究
Experimental Study on Precision Cutting of Optical Glasses
【摘要】 通过纳米印压和变切深切削实验,研究了SF6光学玻璃在微/纳米尺度下的材料去除机理,发现切削条件对脆性材料的微去除方式有直接影响。进行了SF6光学玻璃的超声波振动切削实验,实现了光学玻璃的塑性域切削,获得了粗糙度值为Ra24nm的加工表面。研究结果表明,采用金刚石超声波振动切削技术可以显著减小刀具磨损。
【Abstract】 The material removal mechanism in micro-cutting of glass SF6 was analyzed by nano indentation and ultrasonic vibration cutting tests. The cutting conditions were found to exert a considerable influence on material removal mode. Ultrasonic vibration assisted diamond cutting of glass SF6 was carried out. Ductile regime face turning of glass has been realized and a surface roughness of R_a 24 nm has been obtained. Experimental results show that the tool life was improved significantly by applying ultrasonic vibration to the cutting tool.
