【Abstract】 Object To compare levels of plasma glucose and blood lipid between Uygur nationality and Han nationality in Urumqi.Methods 833 Uygur subjects and 2674 Han subjects were recruited through epidemiological method.Levels of plasma glucose,lipid,blood pressure,body height and weight,and waist circumference were detected.All subjects were divided into two nationality groups.Results Uygur group had higher levels of body weight,waist circumference and plasma triglyceride than did Han group(P<0.01).In Uygur group,there was 75.5% male with waist circumference≥90cm and 71.6% female with waist circumference ≥80cm.Conclusions Uygur people have more central obesity and metabolic syndrome than did Han people.更多还原
