碳化硅陶瓷的水润滑特性及其表面微细织构的优化设计
Surface Texture Optimal Design for Silicon Carbide under Water Lubrication
【摘要】 采用在碳化硅(SiC)陶瓷表面加工表面织构的方法来提高水润滑下SiC陶瓷的承载能力。表面织构由两种直径不同的凹坑阵列混合而成,目的在于利用不同的凹坑阵列分别促进表面间流体动压力的产生和表面跑合的进程。制作了直径为350μm和边长为40μm的凹坑以及由它们混合而成的表面织构,对SiC陶瓷表面的摩擦学特性进行了测试,并以摩擦因数突然上升时的载荷作为指标评价了上述几种表面的承载能力,结果表明,混合有不同尺寸凹坑的织构与具有单一尺寸凹坑的织构相比,承载能力显著提高。
【Abstract】 Surface texturing was used to increase the load carrying capacity of silicon carbide sliding in water.A surface texture pattern,which combined two kind of dimples,was proposed to increase the load carrying capacity by improving both hydrodynamic effect and running process of contacting surfaces.The patterns of dimples with dimension of 350μm,40μm,and their mixtures were fabricated;tribological experiments were carried out;and the load at which friction coefficient increases rapidly was used as the index to evaluate the load carrying capacity of each surface.The results show that the surface with the texture pattern combined with the two kind of dimples has obviously higher load carrying capacity compared to the others.
