【Abstract】 The journal of Subtropical Plant Science started in 1972, which was sponsored by Fujian Institute of Subtropical Botany. With the over thirty-six years’ developments, the impact factors of the journal were greatly improved. However, some problems and shortcomings are encountered during the development of the journal. In order to define the work thoughts on Subtropical Plant Science, the development states from 2000 to 2008 of the journal were discussed. And some necessary measures including correct orientation, construction of the internet editing service platform, extension of information exchange, etc., will be taken to achieve sustainable development of Subtropical Plant Science.更多还原
