【Abstract】 Lakoff and Johnson in Metaphors We Live By proposes for the first time the Conceptual Metaphor as a theory and indicates that metaphor research has freed itself from the bondage of the traditional literature-and-rhetoric based metaphorical theories and ushered in a evolutionary cognitive science.The scholars concerned have accepted that metaphor is not only a means of linguistic expression but also a way of thinking based on one thing substituting another.The paper,based on the collected English and Chinese data concerning "anger" as an emotion metaphor,tries to explain its cognitive and distributive patterns as well as the underlying experiential philosophical fundamentals.更多还原
