Effect of elevator ride on human′s heart rate
用SPSS13.0进行统计分析。
【Abstract】 [Objective] This paper researches on the effect of elevator ride on human′s heart rate when the elevator ascends at the rated speed of 1.75 m/s and maximum acceleration of 0.3 m/s2. [Methods] 31 subjects (21 males, 10 females) were participated in the experiment. They were divided into 2 groups randomly. The experimental Group contained 21 subjects (12 males, 9 females). They rode elevators. The Control Group contained 10 subjects (9 males, 1 females). They did not ride elevators. It was researched whether there were significant differences for the heart rate of the 2 groups before and after the experiment. SPSS13.0 was used for statistics. [Results] "Within Group t test" shows there are significant differences for heart rate both of the 2 groups before and after the experiment (P < 0.05) but "Between Group t test" shows there are no significant differences for the 2 groups both before and after the experiment (P > 0.05). [Conclusions] When the elevator ascends at the rated speed of 1.75 m/s and maximum acceleration of 0.3 m/s2, the changes of human′s heart rate are not due to the elevator acceleration, but because of the posture changes from sit to stand. Elevator ride will not change human′s heart rate significantly.
