【Abstract】 The consumption structure of the rural residents in Xinjiang has been continuing to improve since the reform and opening up.The proportion of the basic survival consumption in that of the rural residents has been declining for the general,while the proportion of the consumption for the "development" and "enjoyment" has been continuing to rise.The consumption structure has been gradually upgrading.To further improve the rural consumption structure,everything must be done to increase the rural people’s income as the most possible as we can.Meanwhile,the basic livelihood guarantee system for the rural areas should be established and improved,so should the protection of rural social endowment and the rural medical security system do.更多还原
