The conclusion part is inappropriate of the College English intensive reading text Lessons from Jefferson
【摘要】 《大学英语》第二册Lessons from Jefferson一文,作为精读课文其结束语未能紧扣主题,且有多余之嫌,对归纳、强调该文的主题尤其不利,可考虑去掉课文的最后两段或最后三段。
【Abstract】 The conclusion part of the intensive reading text Lessons from Jefferson of College English Book 2,not only strays from the central point of the text,misleading the reader,but it is also too long.For its improvement,the last two or three paragraphs can be removed.
