水热处理氧化钆制备棒状氢氧化钆

【摘要】 在水热条件下,通过氧化钆的水化来制备具有棒状形貌的氢氧化钆,用X射线衍射(XRD)、扫描电镜(SEM)研究了结晶产物的物相类型和外观形貌,考察了碱的存在与否,以及碱浓度和水热时间对氧化钆水化速度和产物外观形貌的影响。结果表明,氧化钆在水热条件下可以直接与水反应形成氢氧化钆,但速度较慢。添加一定量的氢氧化钠可以促进氧化钆向氢氧化钆的物相转变,所得产物为具有六方相结构的空心短棒。

【Abstract】 Gadolinium hydroxide with rod morphology was prepared through the hydration of gadolinium oxide under hydrothermal condition.The crystal phase type and morphology of the crystalline products were investigated by means of X-ray diffraction(XRD) and scanning electron microscope(SEM).The effects of the existing of base or not,as well as the concentration of sodium hydroxide and the hydrothermal treating time on the hydration rate of gadolinium oxide and the morphology of products were examined.It was found that gadolinium oxide can react with water to form gadolinium hydroxide directly under hydrothermal condition.However,the hydration rate is limited and the addition of certain amount of sodium hydroxide can promote the phase transformation from gadolinium oxide to hydroxide.The product obtained looks like short hollow rod with hexagonal structure.
