论当前我国高等教育价值取向问题
On the Issue of Value Dimension in China’s Current Higher Education
【摘要】 我国现阶段的高等教育价值取向总体特点是:过度追求人才的工具性价值,以单纯的专业教学代替了整个的人才培养;轻视或忽视了人本价值,偏重智商忽略情商,以国家意志和群体价值取代或置换了个人的生命价值;知识分子的观念价值没有得到应有重视,不注意学生作为一个知识分子将来在社会中应当表现出观念上的先进性和示范性。要改变目前以专业教育为主体的高教人才培养模式,首先必须反思我们过去的价值取向并重新确立、强化新的高等教育价值观。
【Abstract】 The value dimension of China’s current higher education is generally featured as follows: excessively pursuing talent’s instrumental value and substituting pure professional teachings for the general training of talent;ignoring EQ and emphasizing too much on IQ and substituting the national will or group value for individual life value;belittling the intelligentsia’s idea value and ignoring their advancement and exemplary values which shall be reflected in society.In order to change the current talent training mode in higher education,i.e.mainly in major education,we must think over the past value dimension,reestablish and intensify the new value of higher education.
