【Abstract】 Constructivism is a most influential theory in the educational arena both home and abroad in recent years.It holds that an individual constructs his interpretation of the external world based on his already-existing schema and emphasizes the social-cultural aspect of learning.Guided by constructivist learning theory,the English class necessitates a change of the traditional roles and responsibilities of the English teacher-teachers are supposed to switch their attention more to the student as the main body of learning and assume the responsibility of creating a conducive environment for constructive learning on the part of the student.更多还原
