建构主义学习观与英语教师角色及职能转换

【摘要】 建构主义是目前在国内外教育界都颇有影响的一个重要思潮。建构主义强调个体从自身已有的知识结构和经验背景出发,对新的信息进行理解和意义建构,强调学习的主动性、社会性和情境性。在此教育理念指导下的教学模式中,传统英语教师的角色和职能应有所转变:教师应更多关注作为学习主体的学生,以创造有利于建构性学习的课堂环境为其重要职责。

【Abstract】 Constructivism is a most influential theory in the educational arena both home and abroad in recent years.It holds that an individual constructs his interpretation of the external world based on his already-existing schema and emphasizes the social-cultural aspect of learning.Guided by constructivist learning theory,the English class necessitates a change of the traditional roles and responsibilities of the English teacher-teachers are supposed to switch their attention more to the student as the main body of learning and assume the responsibility of creating a conducive environment for constructive learning on the part of the student.
