大断面球铁件中碎块状石墨的形貌特征
Morphology Features of Chunk Graphite in Heavy Section Nodular Iron Castings
【摘要】 借助光学显微镜、扫描电子显微镜和透射电子显微镜对大断面球铁件中的碎块状石墨的形貌特征进行了仔细的观察,发现光学显微镜所看到的碎块状石墨实际上是连成一体的,其轮廓呈球形,而且尺寸很大,是由于石墨晶体沿[0001]方向生长速度过快,不能形成实心球体所造成的,因而不能称其为"碎块状石墨"。
【Abstract】 The morphology features of chunk graphite in heavy section nodular iron castings were observed very carefully by using optical microscope,scan electronic microscope(SEM) and transmission electronic microscope(TEM).It was revealed that the so-called’graphite chunks’ which were seen in optical microscope were actually connecting with each other and forming an integral.Its outer configuration was of spheroidal shape,and its dimension was quite big.The author believed that the reason causing the graphite of such shape was that the growth speed along the direction of the graphite was too fast,and so that it couldn’t form a solid spheroid.Therefore,it shouldn’t be called as "chunk graphite".
