新型IP网络存储器性能比较
A Performance Comparison of New IP-Networked Storages
【摘要】 用实验方法比较NFS、iSCSI(存储设备)、基于iSCSI协议的OSD网络(OSDN)和CAS网络(CASN)的性能,并分析它们的性能瓶颈和优化方向.实验表明,它们的性能是接近的,不同存储操作的性能是不同的:iSCSI的读操作和CASN的写操作性能显著优于其他系统;CASN相对于OSDN的读写操作性能优势随数据传送长度增加而减小.
【Abstract】 The performance of NFS,iSCSI storage,iSCSI based ODS(OSDN) and CAS(CASN) systems is experimentally compared.Performance bottlenecks of these systems are analyzed to provide an insight about how future storage systems may be improved.The experimental results demonstrate the performance of these systems is comparable and performance is different for different operations in storages: the performance for read operations in iSCSI and write operations in CASN is much better than the others;the performance for read/write operations in CASN is higher and lower than that in OSDN when data size transferred is smaller and larger respectively.
