【Abstract】 For the purpose of avoiding and fighting typhoon for vessels at sea,a software of display and plotting system for northwest Pacific tropical cyclone on board was developed on the basis of GIS technology.The system can display the information concerning tropical cyclone,vessel routes and intended track,enable the measuring of range and bearing,and calculate the position of tropical cyclone and vessels based on latest direction and speed.This software has been put into practice with good effects.更多还原
