【Abstract】 The shape of aggregate grains exerts significant influences on concrete performance.In general,properties of conventional concrete have been found by optimum packing density of the aggregate.Particle size and shape are common denominator in such studies.It is still an underrated factor in laboratory studies.This paper elaborates the method for shape assessment of loose(non-embedded) aggregate grains based on imagery processing,and demonstrates its use for four types of aggregate,allowing evaluation of usefulness of the method.更多还原
