界面弹性模量对纤维增强复合材料力学性能的影响
Effect of Interfacial Elastic Modulus on Damage Mechanism of the Fiber Reinforced Composite
【摘要】 研究界面弹性模量对纤维增强脆性基复合材料宏观力学特性和失效破坏机理的影响。从细观角度考虑材料介质力学参数的非均匀分布,对具有不同弹性模量界面的纤维增强复合材料的损伤破坏过程进行了数值模拟。结果表明,柔性界面可显著提高复合材料的宏观韧性;刚性界面不能有效改善材料的脆性。可观察到考虑柔性界面时的界面脱粘、裂纹偏折、纤维桥联和拔出等现象,而刚性界面复合材料的破坏路径表现出完全不同的特性,同时得到相应的声发射模拟结果。
【Abstract】 The effect of interfacial elastic modulus on the damage mechanism and mecro-mechanics feature of the fiber reinforced brittle matrix composite is studied.A numerical program developed based on meso-damage mechanical,is adopted to simulate the whole failure process of the fiber reinforced composite with different interfaces.From the simulation,one can be concluded,that the soft interface is good for higher toughness of the composite,while the stiff interface is not very useful to improve the toughness.And some important phenomena which is very different from the stiff interface such as the interface debonding and sliding,crack defluxion,fiber bringing and pulling out have been successfully reproduced and revealed in the case of soft interface,accompanied result of acoustic emission is also presented.
