全光网通信的实现

【摘要】 全光网(AON)就是网中直到终端用户节点之间的信号通道仍然保持着光的形式,中间没有光电转换器。信息传递过程无需面对电子器件处理信息速率难以提高的困难。文章对当前全光网络的实现进行了分析,介绍了全光网络软硬件技术,从光传输、光器件,光节点技术和光接入技术四个方面进行分析。指出了与电理论和器件相比,光理论和器件还很不成熟。自动交换光网络(ASON)是全光网实现的软件基础。

【Abstract】 The All Optical Network is a communication network that all information from port to port is running in Optical-only method, in which there is no O-E-O conversion. It can improve the communication speed without electronic neck-bottle limitation. This paper discusses the realization of AON and describes its hardware and software technology like the Optical transmission, Optical component, Optical Node and Optical access technology. It points out that AON is still in its early days and the standards of AON communication are being made and developed, and that the theory of Optical is less mature than that of Electronic. The software of All Optical Network (ASON) is the basis of AON communication.
