【Abstract】 As social information service institution and public welfare information dissemination agency of the Government,libraries can play an important role in the dissemination of crisis information. Especially,the promulgation of ’’The Decree of Government Information Openness’’ makes the library become the dissemination agency of government information and lay the legal basis for public crisis information dissemination of the library. The paper discusses the significance of libraries participating in public crisis information dissemination,which includes being the basic requirement of building harmonious society; protecting the public’s right to know; being the demand for the extension of community information service; promoting the library spirit of caring the weak and providing equal service.更多还原
