Ce掺杂TiO2固相光催化降解塑料薄膜

【摘要】 采用溶胶凝胶法合成了纯TiO2和掺杂Ce原子比例(Ce/Ti)为1.2%的TiO2粉末(Ce1.2%-TiO2)光催化剂,分别制备了纯聚乙烯薄膜、添加纯TiO2和Ce1.2%-TiO2粉末的复合聚乙烯薄膜,并于紫外、可见光照下进行了薄膜光催化降解实验;采用X射线衍射、紫外-可见漫反射分析表征了光催化剂的晶体结构及紫外可见光吸收性能;通过激光扫描共焦显微镜和傅立叶红外光谱对薄膜光催化降解过程进行测试。实验结果表明,添加光催化剂可有效降解聚乙烯薄膜,其中Ce掺杂TiO2的活性明显优于纯TiO2;在紫外光照下的降解效果优于在可见光照下的降解效果,且随着光催化剂投加量的增大,光催化效果越来越好,当添加量为5.0%(质量分数)的Ce1.2%-TiO2时复合薄膜经紫外光照300h后,光催化降解失重率达到33%(质量分数)。

【Abstract】 Pure TiO2 and Ce doped TiO2 with the atomic ratio of 1.2% (Ce1.2%-TiO2) were synthesized with a sol-gel method and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and UV-visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS). The pure polyethylene (PE) film and the composite films of polyethylene added with pure TiO2 and Ce1.2%-TiO2 were prepared and their photocatalytic degradation under UV radiation and visible light were investigated with weight loss monitoring, Confocal scanning laser microscopy (CSLM) and Fourier transform infrared spectra (FTIR). The results showed that the photocatalytic degradation of polyethylene films was en-hanced greatly by addition of pure TiO2 and Ce1.2%-TiO2 and the photocatalytic activity of Ce1.2%-TiO2 was better than that of pure TiO2. The photocatalytic degradation of polyethylene films under UV radiation was faster than that under visible light. With the in-crease of the added photocatalysts, the photocatalytic degradation of the composite films improved gradually. The weight-loss of the composite film added with Ce1.2%-TiO2 of 5.0 wt% reached 33% under UV radiation for 300 h.
