典型信号交叉口左转非机动车二次过街研究
A Study on successive crossings of left-turn bicycles at typical signalized intersections
【摘要】 为研究左转非机动车二次过街对信号交叉口运行效率的影响,建立了非机动车影响下的机动车通行能力模型,并基于典型交叉口条件和交通仿真模型比较分析了左转非机动车平均延误。研究表明:在典型两相位控制交叉口,左转非机动车二次过街能够显著提高直行机动车和整个交叉口的通行能力。对于交叉口进口只有一条直行车道的情况,当机动车流量较低时,实施二次过街将较大幅度地增加向左转非机动车延误;当机动车流量较高时,实施二次过街所致的延误增幅相对较小。随着进口直行车道数的增加,二次过街实施前后的延误总体上逐渐接近。在进口有三条直行车道、机动车饱和度较高的条件下,实施二次过街能够减少左转非机动车延误。
【Abstract】 To investigate the effect of applying successive crossings to left-turn bicycles on the efficiencies of signalized intersections,an analytical model is proposed for the capacity of vehicular movements influenced by bicycles.Bicycle delays in various typical intersection conditions are comparatively analyzed through simulations using VISSIM.The numerical results show that the capacities of both the through movements and the signalized intersection can be enhanced by applying successive crossings to left-turn bicycles.However,to require successive crossings results in increased delays for left-turn bicycles when there is only one through lane on the approach.With successive crossings for left-turn bicycles,bicycle delays are significantly increased at low vehicular volumes,whereas at high vehicular volumes,the extent of the increase of bicycle delays is much less.The more through lanes on the approach,the less differences of bicycle delays will be before and after this traffic management measure is carried out.With three through lanes on the approach,bicycle delays can be reduced by implementing successive crossings at high degrees of vehicular saturation.
