The text adopts the clustering analysis of panel data to cluster the rural residents' income and the consumption respectively,and then analyzes the impact of the income differences on the consumption demand based on the data of annual net income per capita and consumptive disbursement of rural area residents in 31 provinces during 1995—2005.
