【Abstract】 James R.Martin stated the model of language in social context in Working with Discourse:Meaning Beyond the Clause.This paper held that the model as a framework for the analysis of social discourse,has developed within systemic function linguistics,and illustrated the usefulness of the model with the speech Condemning Violent Crimes on Campus by American pre-president Clinton.The implications of the model and its discourse analysis for the online foreign language teaching in China were discussed.更多还原
