【Abstract】 This paper obtains the new point estimate and interval estimate for the two- parameter Burr typeⅫdistribution based on the progressively typeⅡcensored sample. Using Monte Carlo method,we compare the proposed estimators with the maximum likeli- hood estimators.The simulation results show that the proposed estimators outperform the maximum likelihood estimators.Finally,a numerical example is presented to illustrate the methods discussed in this paper.更多还原
