丙烯酸酯-丙烯酸共聚物分散剂在碳酸钙/PP复合材料中的应用

【摘要】 采用自行合成的丙烯酸丁酯—丙烯酸共聚体分散剂对填充聚丙烯(PP)的碳酸钙填料进行表面处理。通过扫描电镜分析了碳酸钙在PP树脂基体的分散形貌,考察了共聚物添加量及共聚单体物质的量之比对碳酸钙/PP材料力学性能的影响。结果表明,当丙烯酸丁酯与丙烯酸的物质的量之比为1∶1,丙烯酸丁酯—丙烯酸共聚物的添加量为3%(质量分数)时,可使20%碳酸钙填充PP复合材料的拉伸强度由原来的18.20MPa增加到25.2MPa,缺口冲击强度由3.7kJ/m2增加到4.8kJ/m2,断裂伸长率由8.7%增加到12.2%,性能优于传统的硅烷偶联剂处理体系。

【Abstract】 Self-made butyl acrylate-acrylic acid copolymer dispersing agent was used to the surface modification of CaCO3,in which CaCO3 was the filler for PP composite.Scanning emission micrograph instrument was used to analyze the morphology of the dispersed filler.The influence of the copolymer content and the mole ratio of the two monomers on the mechanical properties of the composite were investigated.The results showed when the mole ratio of butyl acrylate to acrylic acid was 1∶1 and the mass fraction of the copolymer was 3%,the tensile strength of the CaCO3(20%)/PP composite increased from 18.20 MPa to 25.2 MPa,notched impact strength from 3.7 kJ/m2 to 4.8 kJ/m2,and elongation at break from 8.7% to 12.2%,showed better effects as compared to silane coupling agent.
