【Abstract】 Mathematical modeling of the vacuum oxygen decarburization(VOD) refining process of stainless steel was preliminarily investigated.Proceeding from the physical and chemical characteristics of the refining process and considering the mass and heat balances of the system,a mathematical model for the whole refining was proposed and developed.The influences of the operating factors,the non-isothermal conditions and others were considered.The whole refining process of 409L grade ferrite stainless steel in the 120 t VOD furnace was treated by using the model.The model predictions were tested on the industrial data.更多还原
