【Abstract】 Diabetes mellitus(DM) has become one of three most dangerous diseases at present and the development of safe and effective therapeutic drugs also has been a research hot spot.The recent studies show that the berberine extracted from the traditional Chinese medicine Coptis chinensis Franch.had obvious hypoglycemic effect.But there are different opinions on the hypoglycemic mechanism of berberine.This article summarizes the hypoglycemic mechanism of berberine in order to provide theoretical reference for the further development and research on berberine.更多还原
