广州市典型地物及果树极化特征

【摘要】 采用ENVISAT ASAR的APMode(Alternating Polarisation Mode)数据,对广州市几种典型地物(建筑物、植被、水体)在HH水平极化方式、VV垂直极化方式及VH交叉极化方式下的后向散射特征进行研究,分析不同类型地物在不同极化方式下的特点规律;并对实地测得的几种果树(龙眼、黄皮、番石榴)的植被参数及从光学影像上提取的果树信息和雷达图像上果树的后向散射特征进行相关分析,从雷达图像成像原理及物理机制入手总结几种果树后向散射特征的特点及影响其后向散射特征的因素。结果表明,极化雷达遥感对水体、植被的探测具有独特优势,在探测水质信息及植被结构信息上具有较大潜力。

【Abstract】 Multi-polarization SAR has its unique predominance in detecting surface objects, especially vegetation information. By using Envisat ASAR data, the backscattering characteristics of several typical surface objects in Guangzhou City, including buildings, vegetation and water-body, are analyzed by the method of qualitative and statistical analysis under the horizontal (HH), vertical (VV) and Cross (VH) polarization mode. The true measured parameters of several typical fruit trees are contrasted with the vegetation information derived from optical images and backscattering characteristics of the fruit trees on the radar image; the backscattering characteristics of the fruit trees and their influencing factors are summarized with the imaging principle and physical mechanism of radar image. The results show that: polarization radar remote sensing has unique advantages in detecting water-body and vegetation information, and has great potential in detecting water quality and vegetation structure.
