【Abstract】 Equity in higher education plays a significant role in social development. This study focuses on the elite type of higher education and discusses equity issues in this sub-sector. It is hope to understand and explain through this study the nature of equity in Chinese higher education as a whole, and evaluate the impact of massficiation of on improving higher education equity. In comparison, the study also analyses equity issues in the elite sub-sector of American higher education, which as a whole is regarded as the most developed higher education system.更多还原
