【摘要】 本文依据社会语言学话语与权利观点及韩礼德的人际功能理论,探讨模糊限制语在英国作家阿瑟.黑利《旅馆》选段《讹诈》中所构建的人际关系,扩展了模糊限制语人际功能研究的范围,即模糊限制语除具有使言语表达含蓄委婉、礼貌客气,模糊说话者对话语真值的承诺程度,表达对话、商讨态度外,还能体现交际双方的权势关系,成功刻画人物性格。更多还原

【Abstract】 This paper explores the interpersonal status constructed by the hedges in British writer Arthur Hailey’s Blackmailselected from Hotel in the light of the sociolinguistic theory of social power relation and Halliday’s interpersonal function,and concludes that the exploration widens the study of the interpersonal function of hedges by supplementing the function of power relation to the original politeness,consultation and self-protection functions.更多还原
