节约型园林的植物之路初探

【摘要】 该文主要探讨了如何通过选择适宜的植物种类及种植方式构建节约型园林。选用抗旱节水型植物是节水型园林的基本途径-减少耗水量大的草坪、为栽植地创造多荫环境、选用抗旱耐阴植物。应用易栽培植物是节约型园林的可行之路,这类植物对土壤条件适应强、要求宽泛,移植成活率高,抗虫性强。应用粗养护型植物-自播能力强,不需要经常修剪,是园林可持续发展的重要途径。应用乡土植物和构建地带性植物群落是体现地方特色景观的最终出路,也是园林可持续发展的必由之路。并列举了一些在节约型园林中有应用前景的植物。

【Abstract】 How to select proper plants and planting patterns is essential to the construction of xeriscape. Drought-resistant and water-saving plants are the base of xeriscape,with respects to reducing water-consuming lawns,proving more shades for planting beds,and using drought-resistant-and-shade-tolerance plants. Using easy-to-grow plants is feasible for xeriscape since they are easily adapted to different types of soils and transplantation with strong resistance to insects. Applying low-maintenance plants with self-sowing ability and little attendance is important for sustainable landscape. Indigenous plants and typical communities are the destined choices for locally characteristic landscapes to develop sustainably. There are also some plants with high qualities which have a good prospect to be applied in xeriscape.
