【Abstract】 Buffer analysis is one of the several important spatial analysis functions of geographical information sys- tem (GIS).In GIS,buffer generation can be divided into three types:points,lines and polygons.Because the buffer generation for linear objects is the key and basis of buffer generations of three basic types,then this paper carried on the strict mathematics inferential reasoning on the two algorithms of generating buffers for hnear objects,and has obtained the good effect through the programming implementation.更多还原
