【Abstract】 This paper is intended to make a semantic and cognitive analysis of the Adv+N construction in modern Chinese through an exploration into the instances selected from a corpus established by Peking University.Based on these instances,the paper starts with a semantic analysis and constraints of the N,goes on with a tentative probe into the metaphorical properties of this construction,and ends with a cognitive inspection into the possible causes of its increasing popularity.更多还原
