【摘要】 本文以厦门为个案,旨在考察城市的区位、空间与城市发展之间的关系。通过分析厦门从成陆至明清、晚清和民国四个阶段的历史变迁,作者认为在城市空间演化的历史进程中,其地理空间、物资空间与社会空间之间存在着密切的互动关系。近代厦门城市空间演化的经验表明,城市空间的建构与重构受到多重因素的影响,其中贸易、政治等因素带动着城市地理空间的扩展和城市物资空间的改观,在城市社会空间的扩张过程中起到了举足轻重的作用。更多还原

【Abstract】 This paper probes into the relationship among a city’s location,space and development with Xiamen as a case.Through analyzing the historical vicissitudes,the author finds that there is an interactive relationship among the three.The experience of the evolution of modern Xiamen shows that the construction and reconstruction of a city is under the influence of many factors,among which trade and politics have played a vital role in the expansion of social space of cities.更多还原
