【Abstract】 In order to understand the latest research development trend and deeply know the general situation of International Rice Research Institute(IRRI),a one-week investigation was made.IRRI is a simplified organ with clarified mission not only for research,but also for training.The research projects mainly involve combining between rice and biological health,enhancing genetic diversity and discovering new genes,stabilizing the development of society and carrying out project training,and strengthening information management,establishing and updating data bank.The recent research development trend includes functional genome research in rice,wide crossing breeding,good quality rice research,drought-resistance mechanism and marker-assisted selection breeding,genetic transformation,hybrid rice breeding,new plant type and superior rice breeding.The clear research target,highly efficient work and cooperative spirits in IRRI will enlighten us on our research.更多还原
