【Abstract】 Imitation is an important learning process for upgrading technological capability in firms. a literature review on imitation, help us understand research status in this field to build a solid basis for future research. This review highlights imitation is a important research area. Imitation is an important channel for technological capability development in firms. Imitation-based technological learning is untouched upon by previous studies, although rapid research progress has been achieved in the field of technological learning.
