【Abstract】 This paper starts with the brief introduction to the concept,functions and classification of news leads. The author then continues to analyse the differences between Chinese news leads and English ones from 3 major aspects such as length,grammar of news leads and position of news source.Based on these differences,the au- thor outlines 3 corresponding translation strategies involved in translating news leads between English and Chinese——separation and combination,restructuring of information and changing the position of news source.更多还原
