【Abstract】 Chinese mode of thinking is quite different from that of the West because of different cultures to which they belong.Language and thinking are closely interrelated.Different modes of thinking between the Chinese and the English people have an effect upon the two languages.This paper,by discussing the contrasts between Chinese and Western modes of thinking and the contextual structures,is intended to help English learners overcome the influence by mode of thinking of their mother tongue in English writing and communication.Therefore,they can communicate more efficiently.更多还原
